Questions
Can't find what you need? Email support@sabrsoftware.com and a person answers. Sources: SAM.gov (GSA) and USAspending.gov (Treasury).
Where does the data come from?
SAM.gov contract award notices (General Services Administration) and USAspending.gov prime award data (Department of the Treasury). Both are public federal records.
What counts as new?
A prime contract with a new award date, $25,000 or more. Modifications to old contracts are left out. The same award in both sources comes once, as soon as either has it.
Which state does an award count in?
The state where the winning company is based, from its address on the award. A few SAM.gov notices list no address; those go to all-US alerts only.
What about Defense contracts?
Defense awards appear in USAspending about 90 days late, so we take them from SAM.gov award notices, which are posted the same day. Not every Defense award gets a notice.
Do you include contact names or phone numbers?
No. The records have the company, its address and its UEI, but no contact person, phone or email. Awards to individuals are left out entirely.
What does “new contracts only” mean?
Definitive contracts, purchase orders and new agreements. Leave it off to also get orders placed under existing contracts, which are most awards.
Can I change my filters?
Yes. Reply to any email with the states, industries or agencies you want.
Can I use the data for screening or credit decisions?
No. We aren't a consumer reporting agency, and the data can't be used for credit, insurance, employment or housing decisions about anyone.
How do I cancel?
Anytime, from the link in every email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've paid for.
